Poor ,  Leo : He’s a Good Boy

 He really is

He‘s   house   broken 

He’s a great watch dog.  Especially if you like waking up at all

Hrs to a whale sounding hound dog moan that goes right through   yahh!

Like a shreek   in the night.

He love‘s to get into the garbage, and jump up to the dinner table and beg

He will chase and run after any and all dogs and start a ruckus, or not. It depends on his mood but he does need a good run .A big yard he appreciates

He loves to find scents to rub all over himself like near by duck shit and dirt

And stuff and then come running lovingly back to you after being God     knows where for at least 40 to 45 minutes. Then all he needs is good clean bath or spend the night out side your choice

He sheds pretty bad , so it  does help to keep him brushed daily.

He will sit for hrs looking up at food on a counter like a pizza box empty or not until you remove it from his sight.

You will find his hair everywhere in everything.

He smells like a dog.

He’s 50 lbs.  And you can do anything with him and will never attack you

He will sit and take it   like nothing and still love yah right back but he would protect you if he felt a threat

He love’s to play fetch and he will talk to you when he wants things, by 

Barking and howling his fool head off.

He can be very stubborn and not an to budge   an inch from his current

Seating or laying position.

He will come when called most times and, it helps to say leash Leo Leash!

He will fight over food with the dogs in the house

Our Dachshund Freddy is smaller then Leo and he gives  Leo a hard time

Every day and sometimes they just clash and go at it

He is a loyal companion and he does not realize he’s a big Galoot

And not a tiny or even a mid size Dachshund

He deserves to be the number one dog or at least a close second.

I m afraid here he will always just be the Red Headed Step Child

He needs a new home with a hunter, or a farmer and family that will

Appreciates him for lovable hound dog that he is .
